Forest Row School

Challenge

The school had experienced a total heating and hot water failure due to heavy corrosion within the main heating pipes and external ductwork. This had caused a major leak with no possibility of a temporary repair.

SOLUTION

Roselands Heating carried out a site survey to assess the extent of the corrosion and then, working closely with the school and East Sussex County Council, provided a competitive quotation for the repairs.

The works were started almost immediately and were completed on time and within budget. A new sump pump system and flood warning alarm were fitted to ensure the new installation had the maximum possible lifespan.

Benefits

  • Minimal downtime for the school
  • Increased thermal efficiency due to the new waterproof insulation and coated pipework
  • Reduced fuel bills
  • Complete reinstatement of pathways
  • Installation of a monitoring system to prevent further flooding or damage
