Social responsibility

Social responsibility

We believe that it’s important to support our community and the causes that are close to us. Roselands Heating supports a number of charities on an ongoing basis, donating time and money as best we can. Find out more about our chosen causes and see what we’re doing to help.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

We have been raising money to help fight motor neurone disease since September 2010. This cause is particularly close to our hearts as the condition was responsible for the death of the company’s founder, Geoff Burgum, that same year. To date, we have donated more than £11,000 to the MND association.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice

St Wilfrid’s Hospice cared for Geoff in his final months. To show our gratitude, we’ve supported them ever since, sponsoring a room within their new building and donating more than £12,000 since September 2010.

Children’s Respite Trust

We support the Children’s Respite Trust, a local charity that supports children with disabilities and their families. Our organisation sponsors one of the holes at the charity’s annual golf day.

Age Concern

We support the Age Concern facility in Eastbourne by servicing their boilers for free every year.
