The school’s oil-fired boiler had failed beyond repair just three days before Christmas. This boiler was the sole source of heating and hot water for the entire school and was no longer in production. Instead, a replacement boiler had to be found, delivered, installed, and commissioned before pupils and staff returned after the holidays.
To add to the challenge, most suppliers had shut for the holidays, and the country was experiencing one of the worst winters in 30 years.
Roselands Heating used its extensive knowledge and years of experience to locate a suitable replacement boiler, calling in favours with suppliers to arrange for it to be delivered on site the day after Boxing Day.
Staff then cancelled annual leave to ensure that the new boiler would be installed and ready for the start of the new winter term, with no disruption to the staff and pupils.
